We are finally ready to reopen!

Dear valued patients,

COVID-19 has been a very difficult time for all of us. Many of you have been forced to wait for dental care, and we deeply appreciate your understanding while we kept our office closed.  We are all just as excited as you to get back to work and return to doing what we love most! We have missed our patients and team so much.

We are happy to say that we are open from Wednesday, May 20th.

We will begin with urgent and emergency cases. Checkups and cleanings are not yet available at this point.  If you scheduled an appointment prior to the Covid-19 shutdown, it has been cancelled and you will be contacted to rebook.

Your health and well-being continue to be our highest priority, and we are opening because we have carefully planned and revised our office procedures to greatly minimize the risk of infection for our patients and our team members. Our own families are also patients here, so you can be assured that we will be taking care of you just as well as we will be taking care of them.  For your peace of mind, the measures we will be taking to provide a safe dental treatment experience include, but are not limited to, the following:

What we have always done and will continue to do:

  • Follow and exceed guidelines set out in the Alberta Dental Association & CollegeStandards in regards to personal protective equipment (PPE) and office sterilization
  • We use “Surgically Clean Air” HEPA AIR FILTERS that remove particles including odours, gases, mold, allergens, and viruses. The units are capable of removing particles smaller than COVID-19 viruses for everyone’s safety
  • Sterilize all instruments after use
  • Disinfect all exposed surfaces after each procedure
  • Pre-treatment medical mouth rinse to reduce germs
  • Appropriate safety protective barriers to cover the surfaces
  • Eye protection for our patients
  • Regular educational classes to stay updated with our infection control protocols
  • Request our patients to wear disposable shoe covers

Upon Your Arrival at the Office

  • When booking appointments, patients will be screened BEFORE entering the office with a COVID-19 form or a series of questions assessing your well being.Any response indicating recent exposure to someone with COVID-19 or having symptoms will not be booked or be asked to leave, and not return for the specified 14-day self-quarantine requirement
  • Patients are asked to wait in their cars or outside the office until their appointment time.
  • If you have a mask, please wear it. If not, you will be given a mask and asked to use hand sanitizer upon entry

In Treatment Room
